Roundtable Discussion
Mayor Dotson represented the City of Huntsville this week at the National League of Cities conference, joining leaders from across the country to discuss key issues impacting local communities.
As part of the conference, Mayor Dotson participated in a roundtable hosted by John Boozman, providing an opportunity for municipal leaders to share priorities and concerns. He also attended a luncheon at the State Capitol hosted by Steve Womack, where he expressed appreciation for continued federal investment in Northwest Arkansas — including $109 million for the region and $3 million specifically supporting projects in Huntsville.
Mayor Dotson also recognized Executive Director Mark Hayes and the Arkansas Municipal League for their strong leadership and ongoing support of cities and towns across the state. The conference provided a valuable platform for collaboration, discussion, and advancing solutions that benefit communities like Huntsville.
“These conversations are critical,” said Mayor Dotson. “They ensure Huntsville has a seat at the table and that our community’s needs are heard.”
